18 Jan 2018 SportsBoard Lands Women’s Pro Lacrosse League Futures Events!
SportsBoard is psyched to announce a strategic partnership with Women’s Pro Lacrosse League (“WPLL”) in which it will provide its revolutionary athlete assessment platform for WPLL to use during its 12 regional tryouts in March-April 2017 and national culmination event in July 2017.
By using SportsBoard, WPLL will be going completely paperless in its evaluation process capturing skills ratings and text notes live on the field and then use the database to run analytics and determine which girls should be invited to the national event.
“We’re thrilled to see WPLL jump on board with SportsBoard for its Futures division,” stated Gregg Jacobs, Founder of SportsBoard. “We appreciated seeing our travel ball lacrosse clients who use SportsBoard for tryouts, evals and player development recognize how SportsBoard could be used at WPLL and making the introduction. We can’t wait to see the success we will share together during this process.”
“We are very excited to use SportsBoard’s technology during our Future’s tryouts,” explained WPLL CEO and Founder Michele DeJuliis. “There are many talented players that will be trying out, and using SportsBoard’s technology will allow us to keep track of their performance in real time.”
