01 Dec 2017 The Future of Technology for Travel Ball Clubs/Academies, Camps/Combines, and Training Centers
It’s been 5½ years since we started SportsBoard. Back then, we really weren’t sure how we would fit into the technology ecosystem for athletics.
With all of the recent mergers and acquisitions over the past 2.5 years, the market has consolidated significantly into fewer larger vendors such as SportsEngine, Blue Star Sports, Sports Illustrated Play, and TeamSnap. The other significant web site/registration/payment processing platform that continues to plod along grabbing market share is LeagueApps.
Sports organizers (clubs, academies, training centers, camps and combines) have started to realize the importance of assessment data as it fits into the overall workflow of their businesses, pictured below.
SportsBoard’s goal is to be the Integration Hub that connects and streamlines the processes above, pictured below.
Our Integration Hub eliminates the time and staff otherwise needed to keep these databases in sync without integration. And we bring together disparate data from distinct solutions that sports organizers like to use into a single database from which player evals (digital and video) and leaderboards can be distributed. It simply doesn’t get any better than this.
Ultimately, SportsBoard becomes a revenue-enabler for a sports organizer, not a cost. The value-add that we are enabling our clients to offer their customers is 2nd to none.
The sooner you embrace this connected digital world we now live in, the sooner you will start to exceed your customers expectations, not just meet them.
